Progress to this point!

Hello Blogger-peoples!
Today I'm blogging on our progress to this point, and anything we need to fix by Thursday, aka demo day!

So far we have all our game demo and all of that done, so we have nothing else to get ready for Thursday.
Also we have close to have of our game done to.

Anyways, incase we dont have school next week and I can't tell you... MERRY CHRISTMAS  :)

What have I learned from our game demo?
I have learned How to use flash better.
I have also learned how the other teams are doing.

How do you plan to use sound in your game?

Well we plan to use sound in our to help people understand the game better. I think if they hear the sound then the could picture it better. We already have some sound in our game... it is a monster truck.

Working in flash :D

Lets see... do I like working in flash?
Yes I do, it is pretty fun, making all the lil things move, and making things change color also.

My progress to this point is doing very well. I have did the title scene, instuctions, help, level 2 & 4 [but I have not got anything to move just yet on them garrett is gonna get them to move for me]
My stuggles has been the codes and things like that.
My Success has been at drawing the things on flash.

Heyyy bolggers...

Today I'm "Explaoring my Knowledge Community " and find a helpful reserch link on a friends page.
So I dicided to get Google.com I got it off of my friend Alyson's page she is in the 7th grade. Click here to go to her page.
I chose that link because Google is a very good website to get reserch off of.

Adding Scenes

Holaaaa, today im blogging on Adding Scence. I am using visual storytelling through sequence of scenes to help players learn about my topic by asking questions throughout the game and by playing the game. An example of a game I played in "Playing To Learn" that used storytelling to teach a concept well was "The Race To Justice."

Drawing a Scene :)

Today I am blogging on Drawing a Scene. I did the title scene, and Garrett did the loading scene. They actually look very cool, and I'm not just saying that. Garrett knows alot about this stuff, he was in here last year. He has been helping me a lot, and has been very nice.
 

Paper Prototype...

I think the paper prototype has helped me a lot. It helped me by picturing the game better. Also by how it is going to look, and how many scenes we are going to have and things like that. It has been really good, and fun doing the paper prototype. I think its going to help me and my patner in the long run.

Game Idea.

My Synopsis: Our two game genres are sports and racing. Our game idea is to include both in it also. My game idea is to include sports and racing together, make it into a triathlon, by using and catching a football and shooting a bow, along with (racing) driving a car. Garrett's game idea: is to include racing into our game by making it a triathlon, by putting three different objectives into one game, catching a football, shooting a bow and arrow, and racing to the finish. We are also gonna try to put in an AI for you to go against.

I am most excited about the game its self. It seems like it would be very fun, with the different sports.

Mini Game

Yes I do play games in my free time. I love to play games with my sister. We play on the wii all the time, when we are bored or there is nothing on tv. We play racing games, Mario, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band. We also play on our Play Station 2. We also play sports games.

Choosing A Topic

 Hello my name is Stacy. My topic is Math, irrational and rational numbers. I think that these links will help me because they all have to do with math and have irrational and raional numbers on them also. I got most of my information from

Sports

The genre I'm most intrested in for useing my game is Sports. I would like to use thesports grenre because almost all kids like some kind of sports games. I would like to do a baseball one or a football one, but I dont think my partner would want to do that. I also think that maby a Racing game would be run. I would like to do either of them, but Sports would probably be my first choice.

New Year :)
